How Do You Clean Set-In Coffee Stains In Carpet?
With a rich aroma that tantalizes your senses and makes the waking up process a little less painful, you eagerly anticipate that first sip of coffee as though it’s your life blood, when suddenly and quite inexplicably, your cup of rich bold java is gracing your carpet rather than your palate. This is a tragedy in itself, but if your morning grogginess allows you to walk away from it, you now have a set-in coffee stain. A simple fix after you enjoy your second cup of morning coffee. Mix white vinegar and water in equal parts in a spray bottle. Add a tablespoon of dish soap or more; you will want the solution to be sudsy. Spray the stained area with the solution. Make sure that the entire area is covered, but don’t over saturate. Blot the stained area with a clean cloth or sponge until the stain is gone, using more of the solution as needed. “Rinse” the area with a clean damp cloth to remove any lingering suds. Place a fan nearby to help the area dry quickly.
