How Do You Clean Scuff Marks On PVC Fence?
From kids kicking the fence, to accidentally running the lawn mower into it or your teenager tapping the fence with the car, scuff marks on inevitably found on your PVC fence. PVC fencing, or vinyl fencing, is relatively low maintenance with regular cleaning. No harsh chemicals are needed to remove the scuff marks from the fencing and you don’t have to hire a cleaning service. Spray the PVC fencing with water to clean off any loose dust and dirt. Pour a container of lacquer thinner into a bucket. Wear latex gloves and a nose mask to keep the lacquer thinner off of your hands and to keep from breathing in the chemical. Dip a clean rag or shop towel in the bucket. Remove the rag or shop towel from the bucket and wring out excess lacquer thinner. Scrub the scuff marks off the PVC fencing with the lacquer thinner-soaked rag or shop towel. Continue scrubbing the PVC fencing with the rag or shop towel until all the scuff marks are gone.
