How Do You Clean Rust Off Of Concrete?

0

Rust seems to find its way to concrete quite easily. Watering plants can leave rust stains on concrete from the rust in the tap water and it is an unsightly stain that can ruin the look of your patio or driveway. Fortunately you do not have to rent a power washer to clean rust spots. Rust can be removed from concrete with simple, natural ingredients. Tak a lemon and roll the lemon on a hard surface to loosen up the juice inside. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice on the concrete. Allow the juice to penetrate the rust stain for at least twenty minutes. Once the juice has penetrated the stain scrub it with a stiff bristled brush until the stain is gone. Rinse the area with water. Repeat if necessary. If the rust spot is large, you can substitute vinegar for lemon juice.
