Removing rat droppings from underneath your place may not be on the top of your list of fun things to do, but it still may be one of the most urgent. Learn what needs to be done to safely eliminate these nasty little pellets. Hit the entire area with a flea bomb or flea spray. Do this as soon as you discover the problem. Follow the directions and wait the prescribed amount of time before removing the pellets. Put on some old work clothes and a hat. Wear rubber gloves and a disposable dust mask before entering the area where the droppings are located. Spray the pellets with a mixture of 10 percent bleach to water. Thoroughly soak every bit of rat waste with the liquid mixture. The liquid should be dispersed from a spray device such as a plastic spray bottle or a pressurized exterminator’s sprayer.
