How Do You Clean Propane Burners On Camp Stoves?
Maintaining a clean burner surface should be a regular part of propane camp stove maintenance. A failure to keep the propane stove burners clean can result in decreased fuel efficiency, inability to control a cooking flame and corrosion. Burners need to be cleaned once a year, at the end of the camping season, when anticipated use has come to an end. The burners will be ready for immediate use for the next camping season you clean them before storing them. Lift up or remove any grill grate or plate that covers the propane stove burners. Remove the propane fuel source to prevent accidental lighting during the cleaning process. Fill a small bucket or dish pan with 1/2 a gallon of hot water. Fill an additional bucket with warm water for rinsing. Add 1 tbsp. of liquid dish soap to the bucket of hot water. Mix the soap and the water to form suds. Take a clean cloth or rag and saturate it with hot soapy water. Scrub each burner on the propane camp stove with the soapy cloth until residue is
