How Do You Clean Porcelain Floor Tile?

0

Porcelain flooring is one of the easiest flooring’s to care for. It is durable and resists staining better than just about any other product. Regular cleaning is key to keeping your porcelain floors beautiful. Prevent dirt from entering your home by not allowing people to wear shoes in your home. It is recommended that your floors are swept or vacuumed twice a week. Sweep the floors with soft bristled broom. Sweep in two directions to insure dirt is removed from all surfaces. Mop the floor by saturating it with a neutral general purpose cleaner, then scrubbing the surface. Always make sure to rinse the surface with water after cleaning to remove the cleaner. Do not clean the floors with bleach or ammonia based cleaners as they may discolor the floors. A mixture of 1/4 cup vinegar to 2 gallons of water used for cleaning does wonders for your flooring.
