How Do You Clean Plastic Floor Protectors?

0

Plastic floor protectors are used to protect a variety of flooring including hardware, laminate, carpet and tile. Over time, dirt and grime can build up on your floor protectors. Sweeping and vacuuming your plastic floor protectors may not remove caked-on dirt, dust and grime. You don’t have to use a harsh cleaner to clean your floor protectors. For deep cleaning, all you need is a basic soap solution, warm water and a scrub brush. Remove the floor protector from the carpet or other flooring and take it outside to a clean surface like a concrete driveway, patio or other flat surface. Fill a bucket with 2 tablespoons of dishwashing soap and 1 gallon of warm water. Agitate the soap solution with a scrub brush. Pour the soap solution on the side of the plastic floor protector that contains caked-on grime and dirt. Scrub the plastic floor protector with a scrub brush. Rinse the floor protector with clean water from a hose. Wipe the plastic floor protector dry with a clean rag or shop towel
