How Do You Clean Out The AVG Anti-Spyware?
AVG Technologies has designed its AVG Internet Security software (versions 8.5 or higher) with a wide variety of tools to protect computers from viruses and spyware. Spyware can include data miners, adware, redirection software and other forms of malware that track or collect personal information and/or change your browser or computer settings. Whenever AVG detects spyware, the software alerts the user and then quarantines any spyware components or infected files in the AVG Virus Vault. Although the software automatically empties the vault every 30 days, users can manually clean out spyware and infected files from the vault as needed. Access the AVG Internet Security User Interface window. Double-click the AVG icon on the Windows tray or desktop or right-click the icon and select “Open AVG User Interface.” To open using the “Start” menu, click the “Start” button (Windows 2000/XP) or logo (Vista or Windows 7) and select “All Programs” > “AVG” > “AVG User Interface.” Open the Virus Vault
