How Do You Clean Newly Finished Hard Wood Floors?
A newly finished hardwood floor brightens a room’s overall appearance. The finish not only protects the floor from scratches and other damage, but also presents a clean, crisp gloss finish that is noticed when you walk into the room. It is important to use a cleaning routine that will clean the floor without deteriorating the finish. Several retail products are available; however, cleaning with mild, inexpensive ingredients will do the trick with ease. Fill a bucket with 1/2 gallon of warm water, followed by two squirts of peppermint castile soap. This soap is available with cleaning supplies in grocery and hardware stores.
