How Do You Clean Mold & Mildew From A Vinyl Pool?
Vinyl pools come in varying sizes, from baby pools to larger family size pools. No matter what the size, any pool is susceptible to mold and mildew growth. Mold and mildew thrive in damp, dark areas, which make vinyl pools the perfect breeding ground. When cleaning mold and mildew from the pool, equip yourself with the proper safety gear during the entire cleaning process. Drain the pool of all the water. Mix 1 cup of household bleach, 3 cups of warm water and 1/4 cup of mild laundry detergent in a 5-gallon bucket. Use a stiff bristle brush saturated in the mixture to scrub the sides and bottom of the vinyl pool. Rinse the pool with a water hose. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue left behind from the mixture.
