How Do You Clean Mold In Marble Sinks?
Mold and mildew are fungal growths that strike up residence wherever an environment boasts the right climate. If that environment happens to be in your nice marble sink, then they’re more than just a nuisance. Aside from being ugly, they smell bad and can wreak havoc on your respiratory health; tend to mold and mildew immediately. As unpleasant of a task as it might be to remove mold and mildew, it’s at least an easy one. Use a soft-bristled brush to scrape away and loosen the mold in the sink. Don’t use a brush with coarser bristles, which might scratch the sink; a nylon brush or an old toothbrush will work fine. Rinse the mold down the drain with hot water and rinse the area well. Mix a weak solution of two parts water and one part 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Soak a clean cloth in the solution and set it on the area where the mold was. Allow it to sit for at least 10 minutes. Remove the cloth and rinse the area well with warm-to-hot water.
