Before you replace your vinyl, you can try to remove most mildew and mold stains by using cleaning items you already have around your home. Dry the vinyl. Wipe any moisture from the vinyl before you start cleaning. Wipe it down with vinegar. Using a sponge, scrub the affected area. Wash off any remaining vinegar and repeat the drying process. Spray on a non-bleach cleaner. Wet the vinyl with the cleaner and use a clean, dry sponge to remove the mold or mildew. Wipe down with plain water and repeat the drying process. Try bleach.
