How Do You Clean Memory Foam Mattresses?
Memory foam is a special kind of material that is used to make mattresses, pillows and other things to provide comfort to the body. Memory foam starts out as a synthetic form of polyurethane foam material and then other chemicals are added until the desired density is acquired. Cleaning this type of material is not tricky, it’s just time consuming and with mattresses, you need a bit of muscle. Spread out the tarp outside. Put the mattress on the tarp. Mix 1 part mild detergent with 10 parts water in the spray bottle. Spray down the mattress with water from the garden hose using a spray nozzle. Spray the mattress thoroughly with the cleaning solution. Wait 30 minutes. Rinse the detergent out of the mattress. Mix 1 part vinegar to 10 parts water in the spray bottle. Spray the mattress down again. Wait 5 minutes. Spray the mattress clean with water. Fold the mattress in half and press on it to squeeze out as much water as possible.
