How Do You Clean Marble Shower Stalls?
Marble shower stalls are an expensive, elegant addition to the home. While marble is a relatively sturdy building material, regular cleaning will help your marble shower stalls last longer. Keeping your marble shower stalls clean, especially the flooring, is extremely important, because if soap scum builds up, it may make the marble slippery and cause an accident. Dampen the marble surface and wipe with a clean rag. Your goal is to remove any loose dirt, debris or soap scum. Rinse the surface of the marble shower stall with running water. Dilute 1/2 cup of bleach, ammonia or hydrogen peroxide in a bucket with 1 gallon of water. Never mix bleach and ammonia, as the resulting toxic gas will kill you. Wipe the walls and floor of the marble shower stall with a rag or sponge soaked in your diluted cleaning solution. Re-moisten the rag or sponge as it dries out, and rinse it out as it accumulates dirt or grime. Let the marble sit, with your cleaning solution on it, for at least 15 minutes. S
