Turn off the power to the LCD monitor and unplug it. This will prevent electrical shocks and damage to the monitor. Use a multisurface cleaner from a brand-name manufacturer (see Resources). Household cleaning product companies make wipes and sprays that can be used on your LCD computer monitor. If you use a spray, spray the cleaner on to a cloth (microfiber or 100 percent cotton) first.
