How Do You Clean Jacuzzi Tub Lines?
Jacuzzi tubs create a relaxing spa-style environment right in the privacy of your own bathroom. Normal bathtubs require a basic cleaning routine, as you can see all parts of the bathtub. With a jacuzzi tub, the cleaning procedure is a bit more involved, as there are tub lines that lie within the tub. These lines accumulate soap scum and film that goes unnoticed and uncared for with a regular tub cleaning. To clean the lines, you must incorporate a few extra steps into your cleaning routine every month to keep the lines clear and running properly. Fill the tub with hot water, using enough water to cover all jet lines. Pour a cup of household bleach into the tub, along with either one dishwasher detergent tablet, or 1 Tbsp. of powdered dishwasher detergent. The bleach will kill bacteria, while the detergent will break up soap scum and clean the lines.
