Aggregate cement floors have become an increasingly popular interior flooring choice. Not only are they relatively inexpensive, they are easy to maintain and provide a more appealing surface than standard gray concrete flooring. Just as with any other type of flooring, aggregate cement must be cleaned regularly to maintain its appearance. Cleaning interior aggregate cement floors is no different than cleaning standard cement. Properly cleaning interior aggregate cement will keep it in optimal shape and help ensure that it lasts for years to come. Sweep the floor with a dust mop. This will remove loose dirt, dust and debris from the floor. A vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment may be used as well. Fill a bucket with a gallon of warm water. Add a few drops of mild dish soap to the water. Fill another bucket with plain warm water. Mop the aggregate cement floor with the soapy water and a well-wrung sponge mop.
