• Put your Mac OS X install CD/DVD into your CD/DVD drive. • Turn off your Apple Mac. • Boot it up, but before the chime/gong, hold “C” key.* (See Tips) • When it boots, follow on-screen instructions. • When done, you may need to select Boot disk. Do this by shutting down the Mac, hitting “Option” before the chime/gong. • When a menu comes up, double click on the disk (probably Macintosh HD) that you installed OS X on. Voila! Mac 10.X!
