How Do You Clean Hardwood Floors With A Buffer?
A nice alternative to carpet is hardwood floors. Hardwood floors make a spill cleanup easier, but over time, wear and tear can make hardwood floors very dirty and dull. Simple mopping of your floors will bring back some of the shine of original hardwood floors, but nothing like a buffer will. Buffers have a heavy, rotating pad that uses its speed and a polishing solution to clean hardwood floors to their original appearance. Sweep any debris off the floor with a broom. Rent a floor buffer from your local hardware store. Purchase a wood floor polishing pad and a bottle of wood floor polisher solution. Lay the buffer on its side. Unfasten the pad clamp on the side of the buffer base. Place the wood floor polishing pad in the center of the buffer base. Fasten the pad clamp on the side of the buffer base. Stand the buffer up. Push down on the handle bar of the buffer. Have someone squirt a 50-cent-piece-sized circle of wood floor polisher solution on the floor under where the pad will sit.
