How Do You Clean Hard Water Stains From A Polished Stainless Sink?
Polished stainless sinks are a widely popular choice for kitchens due to their durability, affordability and versatility. Stainless steel sinks go with almost any decor and are resistant to dents, nicks, stains and scratches. However, hard water stains remain a common problem on polished stainless steel. Luckily, these hard water stains are relatively easy to clean. Rinse out your sink thoroughly. Remove any food particles or other debris. Wet a clean sponge and wring it out. Sprinkle a bit of baking soda onto your sponge. Work the baking soda into the sink. Rinse your sink and dry it with a clean towel. Be sure to remove all moisture, because standing water will cause hard water stains. For more stubborn stains, use a mixture of equal parts vinegar and baking soda to work into the hard water stain. Rinse and dry, as above.
