Hair brushes and combs collect a lot of hair,grease and germs.They are unhygienic to use after some time if you don’t clean them regularly.If you use a lot of hair styling products and gels,your brushes and combs will become greasy and dirty soon.Therefore,it is important to clean them every once in a while.Here is how you can do that. Fill a sink with hot water.Pour a little ammonia.Place your hair brushes and combs in the solution.Let them soak for three hours.This will loosen all the dirt,grease and hair. Remove them from the sink and remove any more hair stuck to them.Chances are that there will be none or very less hair since the ammonia and hot water will clean them thoroughly.Dry them in the sun or on a clean towel. If you do not want to use ammonia,use two parts of bleach with one part of very hot water.Rinse after soaking hair brushes and combs in the solution after a few hours.Dry them on a clean towel or in the sun.
