Grout, just like your tile, will get dirty and must be routinely cleaned. Although grout that has a sealer applied will not get dirty as quickly as unsealed grout, it is still necessary to clean it. The sealer will protect the grout from stains and excessive dirt, but does not completely prevent the grout from becoming dirty. Cleaning sealed grout can be done quickly by using products you likely already have in your home. Your tile grout will look like new in no time. Remove loose dirt and debris from the grout and entire tiled surface. Use a broom, vacuum cleaner with attachment or dry rag to wipe away any loose material. Fill an empty spray bottle with 7 cups of water. Add ½ cup baking soda, 1/3 cup ammonia and ¼ cup white vinegar. Shake the bottle well to thoroughly combine the ingredients.
