0

Are you having trouble keeping your garage door close? Does it immediately pop back up when it should be going down? If this is the case then maybe your garage door sensors are due for a cleaning. Garage door sensors are very sensitive to dirt and grime and can start to behave badly when they become dirty. The good thing is cleaning these sensors are relatively easy and can be done with items found in your own home. Disconnect the power to the garage door. Locate where both the garage door sensors are. The sensors are usually boxed shaped and are commonly found attached to the track near the bottom of the inside of the garage door. Apply the rubbing alcohol to the terry cloth. Make sure the cloth is heavily saturated. In a circular motion rub the front of the sensors with the cloth. Continue with this step until all the dirt and grime is completely on the cloth and off the sensor. Complete this step with the other sensor as well. Use the dry paper towel to completely dry the sensors. T
