Wash down all available surfaces of the machine, including the tub and the door with a sponge or washcloth dipped in the soapy water. Pour a bit of baking soda on the sponge or washcloth and scrub any stubborn stains or grimy areas. Rinse out the sponge or washcloth, and wipe down all surfaces to remove any soap or baking soda as leaving any residual might eventually get sticky.
