How Do You Clean Floors After Breaking Glass?

0

You went to Cardenas, bought some marinated beef and a 6 pack of Negra Modelo. At home, you start unpacking your bags and BAM, your 6 pack’s bottom busts and the beer falls to the floor. Okay, okay, so it was me. Here’s how I cleaned it up. With broom and dustpan, sweep up the biggest pieces. Take your time, use the broom, not your hands. When you’ve got the largest bits of glass off the floor, rinse the broom in the sink or bathtub. Use a string mop to get up the majority of the wet stuff. Remember that you are mopping up glass shards so rinse and wring often in the sink. Once you’ve got the majority of the wet stuff up, get your broom and dustpan and GENTLY sweep up as many of the remaining glass shards as you can. At this point you will have a sticky mess with little tiny pieces of glass shards throughout. Wait until it’s dry, then vacuum. Go over the area at least three times, giving your vacuum a chance to get what it missed the first time(s). Rinse your string mop really well in
