Floating water toys provide hours of fun for kids whenever they are around water. These toys also tend to grow slimy or moldy, due to the constant moisture, which presents a health risk to the kids playing with them. Taking time to clean water toys regularly, whether for the bath or a pool, fends off these undesirable side effects. Remove the toys from the water when they aren’t being used. Allow them to air-dry in the sun if they are used in a pool. For indoor water toys, remove them from the tub after a bath so they can dry. This also keeps them away from the soap scum and other things that collect in bathtubs. Rinse the soap bubbles off of water toys used in a bathtub.
