Cleaning grout off ceramic tile isn’t impossible; whether it’s a haze of film left on after the final wipedown or pieces of grout, what is left over will determine which method and how much energy you will need to clean it. Roll up your sleeves and get to work and before you know it your project will be finished. Mix 1 cup vinegar to 3 cups hot water. Wipe the ceramic with the mixture in 3-foot square sections, going over each section three times and overlapping sections. Replace the solution when it becomes cloudy. Air dry the ceramic; no need to rinse. Wet down a 3-foot square of ceramic with hot water. Scrub the spots of grout vigorously with a stiff bristled brush until they break free from the ceramic.
