Concrete roof tiles are low maintenance compared to many other roofing options. They are durable and will continue to look good for years to come. As with any roof, there are routine things you can do to prolong the life of the tiles and keep them attractive. The primary thing to watch for is moss growth and debris buildup. Neither are likely to damage the roof, but it can look unattractive and/or block runoff. You can clean concrete roof tiles yourself easily with the right equipment. Attach the nozzle to your pressure washer. Most washers have a nozzle rated for concrete, otherwise use a 3,000 PSI-rated nozzle. Plug the pressure washer in and attach it to your water source. Turn on the pressure washer then position yourself at the peak of the roof. You will need to wash in the direction of the roof’s natural drainage. Put on your safety goggles before starting.
