A dirty screen can cause eye strain and even cause you to misread some things. Keeping your computer monitor glass clean not only makes your computer look nicer, but is good for your eye health. You can prevent a dirty screen by cleaning your monitor glass frequently and never touching the screen with your fingers. Spray cleaner onto a clean towel. If the screen is extremely dirty, dampen a cloth with a small amount of water and wipe over the screen before using the cleaner. Wipe over the screen with the cleaner-covered towel. Be sure to clean the entire screen. Use a dry clean towel to remove any excess. Use electronics wipes instead of cleaners and towels as a quicker method. You can clean both the monitor glass and the outside of the monitor with the same wipe. Be sure to clean the glass first to prevent streaking.
