How Do You Clean Commercial Linoleum Floors?
How to properly clean a linoleum floor Think back to your days filled with pestering your high school janitor. Fill a bucket with warm water and a little bit of common dish soap. Ivory brand dish soap is a very readily available and cheap soap to use in this application. Using either a mop or nylon bristle brush, scrub/apply the affected area thoroughly. Linoleum is a very hardy material, but it usually is a floor surface of a highly traveled area. Especially in commercial applications, equipment can cause deep grooves that really attract foreign bodies. Make sure to scrub these indentations thoroughly. Rinse with a damp mop to pick up any excess soapy residue. For large surface areas, either use two buckets, one with warm soapy water and one with clean water, or use a hose to rinse the area once it has been scrubbed. Admire your easily maintained flooring system.
