How Do You Clean Clogged Inkjet Cartridges?
A clogged inkjet cartridge may still contain a large quantity of expensive ink, so it’s worth trying to clean the nozzles to get full value out of the cartridge. Rubbing alcohol that is judiciously applied is the trick to unclogging an inkjet cartridge. The alcohol acts as a solvent to loosen and dissolve dried ink so the cartridge can continue printing. Keeping a bottle of rubbing alcohol and some cotton swabs around the house could prove to be a lifesaver during one of those late-night printing sessions to complete a report that’s due the next morning.
