Cleaning the headlights on an Acura Integra usually involves buffing them so that any haze on the lens is removed. The most popular model of Integra has four small, round, headlights that can be buffed. A simple wash is usually not sufficient to produce the clarity of a good detail job. Though a simple process, it is time consuming and technically difficult due to the Integra’s small headlight size. If you are working on an older model of Integra, you may not have this problem, as the front end had a different design. You should expect to spend more than an hour cleaning your headlights. Place a small amount of polishing compound on the bottom of the buffer pad. Rub the pad over the surface of the headlight lens with the buffer off.
