How Do You Clean Calcium Deposits On Drinking Glasses?
Calcium deposits can make clean drinking glasses look dirty. For those who live in areas with hard water, this can be a frequent and irritating occurrence. Hard water contains higher levels of calcium and magnesium. When the water becomes heated and then cooled it leaves unsightly spots and films on glasses. Fortunately removing these calcium deposits is a process that requires very minimal effort. Fill the sink with warm to hot water. Add 1 cup of white vinegar and 2 tbsp. of dish soap. Place the drinking glasses gently in the water so that they are completely submerged. Allow the glasses to soak for at least 15 minutes. Rinse the glasses with warm, clean water. Dry the glasses with a soft clean lint-free dry towel.
