How Do You Clean Burnt Milk From A Pot?
It happens to all of us. You’re bringing milk to a boil, the phone rings and the next thing you know the milk is burnt and caked onto the bottom of your pot. Scrubbing doesn’t even make a dent in it, but don’t fret! You have to say goodbye to your favorite pot. With just a few simple steps you can have your pot sparkling like new. Put the lemon juice and water into the pot. Simmer the mixture on the stove for 10 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and use a wooden spoon to scrape the burnt milk from the bottom. This will require a little elbow grease but it will come off fairly easily. Use a steel wool pad to clean any residual stains. Give the pot a final cleaning with dish soap and a sponge.
