How Do You Clean Burnt Food Off Non-Stick Frying Pans?
Forgetting to grease the bottom of a non-stick frying pan can be a big mistake, especially if your food burns and then sticks to the bottom. Soaking the pan in hot, soapy water may not be enough to remove the food from your non-stick frying pan. You may still be able to save your frying pan using a household product and the right cleaning method, Fill the non-stick frying pan about half way with water. Place the frying pan on the stove and turn the stove on until the water begins to boil. Then, turn the stove off. Scrape the bottom of the frying pan with a plastic kitchen scraper. Since the water will still be incredibly hot, you may want to wear a glove while doing this. Dump the water into your sink and then place the frying pan in the sink. Put one cup of undiluted white vinegar and one to two tablespoons of degreasing liquid dish soap into the frying pan. Fill the frying pan with hot water.
