A bathroom faucet that has inconsistent water flow may need a good cleaning. When you remove a faucet, take a few minutes to clean it. You can always clean the surface of the faucet while it’s still attached to the sink or tub, but removing the piece helps you get to the interior. Taking the time to clean the piece while it’s removed will improve your water flow without costing you more to increase the water pressure. Twist the aerator off the end of the faucet. The aerator mixes air with water to decrease the amount of water pressure you need while also trapping particulates. It is the cylindrical metal piece at the head of the faucet.
