How Do You Clean Artificial Plants With Salt?
Artificial plants can be expensive. Their freshness is gone when they are coated in a layer of dust. You want to keep them looking their best, but dust gets inside every little crevice and in places even a cotton swap can’t reach. Follow these steps to keep silk plants looking beautiful. Pour a cup of salt into a paper grocery bag. You can also use plastic. Be sure to check the bag for holes. It could get messy especially if you’re using a plastic bag. Stick the silk plant or flower, leaves first, into the sack. Fold the top over a few times on the paper sack. If you’re using a plastic bag, twist the top tightly around the plant’s vase and hold it in place. Shake the sack for a few minutes. The salt will get into all the little crevices and scour the dust away. As you remove the plant, shake the salt off into the bag. You might want to do this outdoors, just in case. Admire your beautiful just-as-new plant and set it back out for display. Reuse the sack and salt for the next dusty plan
