Keep on hand a mixture of equal parts of white vinegar and water. I keep a recycled dish detergent bottle pre-mixed with the vinegar and water on hand and ready for use . When your pet has an accident, take a paper towel and blot it up as soon as you find it. Next, soak area liberally with vinegar and water solution and blot with paper towel. Sprinkle the wet area with a generous coating of baking soda and let dry for several hours. When the baking soda dries, you see that the baking soda has turned yellow as it absorbed the pet urine.
