How Do You Clean An LCD Television Screen?
LCD TVs provide a high-definition display in a thin, lightweight package. Available in a range of sizes, brands and resolutions, LCD TVs are widely available at most electronic and retail stores. Fingerprints, dust and dirt can build up on your LCD television screen, obscuring the view and ruining the TV’s appearance. The wrong cleaning products can cause permanent damage to your screen and may even void your warranty. There’s no reason to spend extra money on special LCD cleaners; a homemade mixture made from common household items works just as well. Fill a cup halfway with water and add 1 or 2 tbsp. of isopropyl alcohol. Pour a small amount of the alcohol mixture onto a soft cloth to dampen. Avoid soaking the cloth completely with the liquid. Turn off the LCD television screen. Wipe the LCD television screen in horizontal or vertical motions to avoid streaking. Wipe the screen with a clean, soft cloth until it’s dry.
