Acrylic tubs come clean with little effort because they are non-porous and high-gloss. Never use undiluted harsh cleaners and solvents, as this can damage the acrylic and ruin your tub. Fill the bucket with warm water and two or three drops of dish detergent. Mix it with your hands or in the stream of water until sudsy. If you don’t want to use a bucket, wet a cloth under a stream of warm water and add the detergent to the wet cloth. Wet the tub with water from the faucet or a showerhead. Use the cloth and soapy water to wipe down the entire surface of the tub. Start at the top, where the fixtures are located, and work your way around until you reach the bottom.
