With some common household items and noncorrosive cleaning agents, you can successfully clean aluminum bicycle wheels. Mix a solution of one part hot water and one part white vinegar. Vinegar is a safe cleaning agent to use on aluminum. Heat the solution in a medium sauce pan over medium heat.
