The housing of your water bed consists of a vinyl mattress that encases gallons upon gallons of water. Over time, if not cared for properly, the vinyl may begin to crack, which will ultimately have bearing on the integrity of the mattress. Rather than allow your water bed’s vinyl mattress to deteriorate and result in a messy accident, you can maintain and extend its life via cleaning that removes the dirt and oils that can accumulate during regular use. Spray several shots of commercial vinyl cleaner onto a soft cloth. Wipe the vinyl water bed mattress with the cloth in a circular motion to remove the dirt and oil. Spray vinyl cleaner on an unused portion of the cloth once you have cleaned a section of the mattress. Allow the mattress to air-dry before making the bed.
