How Do You Clean A Stained Coffee Pot?

0

Not only does coffee from a stained coffee pot look unappetizing, but it can be daunting to try and scrub out something as delicate as a glass carafe. Luckily there is a very simple solution to cleaning out not only a coffee pot, but also stained steel sinks and other stained containers. Simply boil some clean, cold water. Add a denture cleaning tablet(s) to the stained container (1 tablet per 0.5 gallons typically works) Pour the boiling water into the container with the tablets and leave to stand for several hours, typically leaving it overnight works well. The denture cleaning tablets are designed to remove tough stains such as coffee, which makes them ideal for this use as well. Pour out the liquid, rinse thoroughly and wipe clean.
