How Do You Clean A Scratched Playstation 2 Game?
The biggest problem with the move from console’s using cartridges for games to CDs and DVDs is the greater risk of damage. With all the data that’s packed onto just one disc, even a small scratch can cause serious damage to the game. There are ways to try and fix a scratch in your PlayStation 2 games. Take a lint free cloth or a tissue and gently rub from the center of the disc to the outside of the disc. Using a small amount of rubbing alcohol instead of water if the disc still doesn’t work. Allow the disc to air dry. Make sure the disc is clean before trying to fix any scratches. Put a little warm water on the disc and apply a little baking soda toothpaste. Rub in straight lines over the scratched area, from the center of the disc to the edge of the disc. Do not rub in circles. 10-15 swipes should be sufficient. Rinse off the toothpaste and air dry the disc.
