How Do You Clean A Mr Coffee Machine?
Introduced in 1972, Mr. Coffee was invented by Edward Able and as the first drip coffee maker that was available for use at home. It revolutionized coffee brewing and became a cultural icon in the 1970’s and 1980’s. Cleaning a Mr. Coffee machine is a very simple process that can extend the lifespan by preventing harmful buildups of minerals and debris that can inhibit the taste and quality of your coffee. Fill the coffee pot to the eight cup mark with vinegar and pour it into the water chamber. Allow the machine to run its cycle with only the vinegar. Turn the machine off before it finishes to allow the vinegar to sit in the internal workings for at least ten minutes before turning it back on. Pour the vinegar out of the pot and wash it out with warm soapy water. Run the coffee pot two or three more times with only water in it to rinse away any residual lime scale.
