Marble statues, over time, can develop a layer of grime and grit on them. Although the dirt may not be immediately visible to the eye, it’s still there. You can take care of the task of cleaning your statues in no time. Wet the sponge with the natural marble cleaner, following the manufacturer’s directions. Thoroughly wipe the statue to remove any obvious debris, paying close attention to creases and cracks. Wet the sponge with warm water. Wipe the statue down to remove any soapy residue. Rinse your sponge using hot tap water. Wipe away any sudsy residue that remains on the statue with the sponge. If the statue has a dull finish, rinse the sponge again with hot water, and wipe over the statue again. A dull finish or dull streaks indicate there is still residue on the statue. Dry the statue completely with the chamois cloth. Do not allow the statue to air dry.
