How Do You Clean A Marble Bath?
Marble baths add the beauty of natural stone to any home. This material is luxurious and long-lasting, but it does require special care to retain its beauty. Never use a commercial cleaner meant for other items without checking that it is safe for marble. Even slightly acidic cleaners, such as vinegar or citrus-based cleaners, may harm the marble’s beautiful, shiny finish. However, keep your marble bath clean easily by frequently applying the appropriate cleaners, and avoiding soap and dirt buildup. Mix your cleaner in a sink or a small bucket. Use either a mixture of a very mild, noncitrus, dish detergent liquid and warm water, or use a neutral marble cleaner. You’ll find the latter at most places that sell household cleaning supplies. If you use dish detergent, then 1 tbsp. per gallon of water should be sufficient. Saturate a soft sponge in the cleaning mixture and scrub down the marble surfaces.
