How Do You Clean A Grease Stain Off A Garage Floor?

Garages are notorious for grease stains but you don’t have to live with them anymore. You also don’t need to spend a fortune on fancy cleaners that may or may not do the trick. Within the day, you can have a garage floor to be proud of once again. This is easy enough that you could even enlist your bored teenager to do it for you. Pour non-clumping kitty litter onto any fresh grease which has not yet dried on. Generic kitty litter is not only cheaper but will work better. Sweep up the kitty litter after it has been left to soak up the grease sufficiently. Pour Pepsi or Coca Cola onto the floor. A couple 2 liters should do it. Be generous. Allow this to sit on the stains for a good amount of time but don’t allow it to dry up. This will loosen up the grease so you can wash it off. Spray the garage floor with a hose. A pressure washer is even better, if you have one. Small, hand held pressure washers can be purchased very inexpensively now. I found one for under $60. A great investment!
