How Do You Clean A Glass Cooktop Stove?
Glass cooktop stoves continue to grow in popularity because they allow for easy cooking and cleanup and provide a modern, clean appearance in any kitchen. No matter what make or model of glass cooktop stove you purchase, there are only a few simple steps you will need to take to maintain your new appliance. Allow stovetop to cool completely after use. Wipe away grease and other food residue with a sponge. Scrape off any burnt-on food residue gently with a razor blade. Apply a layer of glass/ceramic stovetop cleaner to the surface. Use paper towels or a sponge to spread the cleaner over the cooktop. You can purchase this type of cleaner in grocery stores, through appliance dealers or online (see Resources below). Allow cleaner to dry. Wipe away cleaner with paper towels, then polish with a soft, lint-free cloth.
