How Do You Clean A Glass Coffee Pot With White Vinegar?
Coffee pots are often well utilized for making coffee, yet neglected when it comes to cleaning. Glass coffee pots become stained from being left on a coffeemaker’s burner with little or no coffee in them, or from the residue that accumulates over time. White vinegar, as a cleaning agent, can restore your stained or dingy glass coffeepot to a shiny, sparkling vessel from which you will be proud to pour coffee. Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda into the bottom of a dry, cool coffee pot. Pour distilled white vinegar over the top of the baking soda, until the baking soda is covered with vinegar. Allow the chemical reaction to take place between the vinegar and baking soda, and gently swirl the mixture around in the pot to remove any stains. Use a sponge to wipe down the inside surface of the pot. Pour the cleaning mixture into the sink, and wash the coffee pot with hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly with a lint-free towel.
